Palo Santo

Palo Santo, or Holy Stick (Bursera Graveolens) is a natural wood aromatic incense native to Peru, Ecuador, and other South American countries.

It has been used for centuries by indigenous peoples as a spiritual remedy for purifying and cleansing, as well as to get rid of evil spirits and misfortune, and medicinal purposes.

It has a pleasing citrus aroma with underlying notes of frankincense, its close relative.

This Palo Santo is sustainably harvested from naturally fallen trees and branches that lay dead for 4-10 years before they are harvested.
